Ottawa East
Located south of Nicholas Street, north of Main Street and Riverdale Avenue, and between the Rideau Canal and Rideau River, you will find Ottawa East. Away from the urban activity, this neighbourhood has a quieter, more residential feel, especially with the many tree lined communities. This established community offers a variety of parks, walking paths, and bike routes for individuals with an active lifestyle.  Ottawa East is also home to the Canadian Aviation Museum, Canadian Forces Base of Ottawa and offers shopping in New Edinburgh and the St. Laurent Shopping Centre.

Ottawa West
Directly to the west of downtown is Ottawa West. This area offers such a variety to those living here.  From the beaches, bike trails and parklands along the Ottawa River Parkway to the Scotiabank Place, there is something for everyone.  Shoppers will enjoy Merival Road and Wellington Street.  If you are looking for an artistic outing, visit one of the many museums, playhouses or galleries.  Ottawa West is located close to downtown and has fantastic public transit services.

Ottawa South
Ottawa South is bordered by the shores of the Rideau Canal and the Rideau River to the North and South, east of Bronson Avenue and west of Riverdale Avenue and Main Street. This is a charming neighborhood, filled with character and history, that offers something for everyone. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the scenic parks along the Rideau River.  Commuters can easily travel around and out of town due to Ottawa South's central location.  The nostalgia of the area is present in the Mayfair Theatre, the oldest surving theatre in Ottawa, as well as the gems of Antique Row. Shoppers can also enjoy the variety of shops on Bank Street.

Ottawa Central
Ottawa Central is situated between Bronson Avenue, the Rideau Canal, Gloucester Street and the Ottawa River. The downtown area is considered to be the economic and commercial hub of Ottawa.  Similar to most urban areas, there is a mixture of residential, retail, office and government buildings. The main focal points include Parliament Hill, Dow's Lake and the Rideau Canal. Ottawa Central is quite pedestrian friendly. Residents can easily walk to work or the shops along Bank Street, Elgin Street and Somerset Street.  The outdoor activities here are year round. In the summer, you can go boating, cycling and walking.  The winter offers an opportunity for cross-country skiing and ice skating.  There are also museums, movies, live performances, shopping, The Glebe, Little Italy and many more.  This is an area of endless choices.
